Nov 14th 2015 saw the twelfth annual MOSS Jam go off at the new 11 foot deep Noble Park bowl in Melbourne, Australia.
Bowl skaters from across Australia, New Zealand and as far away as Florida USA flew in to celebrate 40 years of skateboarding and the first major comp at what many say is the best bowl in the world.
Our best ripping skaters shredded the pool coping in the MOSS Open and blasted into the stratosphere in the Highest Air comp! And the MOSS Jam saw skaters from 5 years old through to 55 years rip the snake run in the Fossil & Grommet family teams comp and the Masters and 50+ Grand Masters sessioned the big bowl for hours!

A fund raiser for MOSS Foundation’s clean water projects in Swaziland, Africa, the event was a roaring success. Enough money was raised to build a life changing permanent clean water scheme for about another 500 people in Africa. And enough radness was raised to stoke the bowl skating scene for a very long time. Huge thanks to all the sponsors, volunteers and everyone that bought a t-shirt, sausage, badge or piece of art at the Skate Culture Charity Auction – you all helped make a difference!
(note: cash prizes were raised from entry fees. All other funds raised will go to MOSS Foundation clean water projects.)
